Hamer USA Introduces the Monaco Bass

Welcome to the new glory days of rich, distinctive and unique tone. Hamer USA is proud to introduce the new Monaco Bass to its lineup for 2005.

Not just another pretty face, this 4-String bass is an instrument with true personality. If you believe that modern basses have lost their identity in the rush to go hi-fi, this one is for you.

True to its legendary heritage, the Monaco Bass (model MONB) features solid tone and flawless construction that delivers no-nonsense performance. The dense mahogany body is topped with glorious figured Maple and coupled to a 34” scale rock Maple neck for a distinctive and unique tonal character. To make sure that the character isn’t lost, Hamer has specified custom “Phat Cat” bass pickups, designed by Seymour Duncan exclusively for this instrument.

The Monaco Bass also boasts a Rosewood fingerboard with MOP inlays, and a fully adjustable block bridge and totally passive electronics for the warmest and fattest tone in years!

Hamer Increases Korina Offering With New Special And Vector Models

Hamer USA is notorious for building some of the finest, hand-crafted guitars from some of the most premium, hand selected exotic woods available. One of Hamer’s most popular exotic woods is rare African Mahogany, better known as Korina. Hamer USA has increased their 2005 Korina offering with the new Special and Vector Korina models.

If a simple, classic looking instrument is what you need, look no further than the Special Korina. Along with a definite vibe and distinctive tone, the Special features a 2-piece, solid Korina body, with a 3-piece Korina neck. Powered by a single, Seymour Duncan, dog-eared P-90 pickup, this guitar is ready to rock! The Special Korina also features a "quarter sawn" Rosewood fingerboard with MOP dot inlays, a tortoise shell pickguard and a wrap-around tailpiece.

Want to make a statement every time you walk up on stage? Do it with a Hamer Vector Korina in hand. The Vector's body and neck are hand-crafted with the finest Korina, fashioning a lightweight guitar that packs a heavy sound. XT Series Scarab In Black Finish (SCA-BK)

During the 80’s, the Hamer USA Scarab rocked hard and loud on many stages around the world.

The Scarab will once again play a part in Hamer’s history as it and takes on new life in Hamer’s new XT Series.

Hamer’s Scarab (SCA) is one of the coolest looking guitars available today. This “XTreme” and radically shaped guitar features an Alder body with a set-in Maple neck, and is fixed to a Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. The two powerful Hamer humbucking pickups will drive your amp into heavy distortion. Add all black hardware and you have one of the coolest guitars available today. Hamer Building An American Legend DVD Available


For over 30 years Hamer has been crafting hand-made guitars for the biggest artists in the music business. In addition they have created a market category.

In celebration of their 30th anniversary, Hamer has collaborated with Hollywood to create a documentary on the company and its unique contribution to the history of American guitars.

The 30-minute piece, titled; Hamer, Building an American Legend, was the brainchild of producer Mike Brady, who has made films about Nike, Kodak and Mercedes Benz. Brady felt that Hamer's pivotal role in guitar history was tailor-made for a documentary-style film.
